The Insurance Department of PA enforces the law that requires you to secure a written agreement each time you place a piece of PA business with a carrier that has not appointed you. Please check the business you have placed with the State Workers' Insurance Fund, the Assigned Risk Plan, the Fair Plan, the Pennsylvania Professional Liability Joint Underwriting Association and any business placed in the Excess & Surplus market, including with All Risks, Ltd., as all PA business will need an agreement with the client.
